Originally from Ontario, Canada, Jon Klassen now lives in Los Angeles and works on animation and book projects. He likes folk tales and the art that goes with them. The work he does on his own doesn’t have many themes, but he enjoys thinking about inanimate objects and places where things happen on their own.
