This season, Gitman continues their ongoing collaboration with the iconic mid-20th century designer, Alexander Girard. Girard originally designed this print, Cutout, in 1954 during his tenure as the Head of Fabric and Textile Division at Herman Miller. More than 70 years later, Cutout serves as a prime example of Girard's masterful graphic work, now transposed to Gitman's signature oxford. The body is Gitman's classic fit - trim but not tight, true through the shoulder with a slight taper under the arm and polite shirting hem.
