Yoshida / Porter began in 1935 as a small workshop dedicated to assembling the best bags possible using the best craftsmen available. The company motto is “heart and soul in every stitch” and this rings true today as those same traditional manufacturing techniques are still practiced. Typically a Porter bag is crafted start to finish by a single skilled craftsman.
