Hasami ceramics are crafted in the town of the same name, in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. This style of ceramics production is characterized by a unique division of labor where each step - shaping, glazing, and firing - is handled independently. This allows each craftsman to hone their techniques, resulting in a highly specialized process and a product that's sturdy and long-lasting.
